Being ourselves

Sometimes a quote just says it all.

Continuing the theme of the last blog, here’s something for HSPs and others who feel they don’t belong or fit in.

“For so long I’ve always wanted to be different.  And now I realise I just need to be myself.”

The words of Da ‘Vine Joy Randolph who – just last week – won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress for her role in ‘The Holdovers’.

She wanted to be different i.e. not be who she was.  And look what happened when she stopped trying to be someone else.

An inspiration to us all.
