An HSP playlist

I love my music – it’s one of the ways I relax, particularly when no one else is around.

The last blog was about song titles that might describe what it’s like to live as a Highly Sensitive Person.  Particularly the journey from not knowing to discovering you’re an HSP.

In this one, I share some songs that appeal to the HSP in me.  A mix of anthemic and rhythmical, soothing and soaring …

True Colors – Cyndi Lauper

Brave – Sara Bareilles

Rise – Calum Scott

Alaska – Maggie Rogers

Unwritten – Natasha Bedingfield

Truth is a Beautiful Thing – London Grammar

Lough Erin Shore – The Corrs

Pure Shores – All Saints

Everybody’s Free to Wear Sunscreen – Baz Luhrmann

I Know You by Heart – Eva Cassidy

February Song – Josh Groban

Illumination – Secret Garden

If you’re interested, the video for ‘Brave’ is fun and uplifting.

And there’s another video of then-student Maggie Rogers having ‘Alaska’ critiqued by Pharrell Williams.  It’s a study in being yourself and surprising a superstar!

I wonder what songs resonate with the HSP in you?  What would make it onto your HSP playlist …
